1. Dry removal of loose dirt and dust through shaking or blowing methods.
2. In extreme cases (and based on whether the rug can handle it), a full water submersion in water to lift any additional dirt or dust.
3. Hand washing of rug. We’ll check every inch of your rug to provide gentle handwashing using delicate cleansing solutions and warm water.
4. Rug is dried using a method appropriate for its structure. Sometimes this involves long, slow drying processes, while other rugs may need to be dried as they are washed.
5. Rug is examined for any additional spots that may have been missed during the first round of cleaning.
6. Any repairs or retouches that are needed are made. This can include sewing, patching, recoloring, reweaving or fringe work.
